DIVE IN! | BIBLE LESSON Today our Bible Story is about John the baptist baptizes Jesus.

Today we are learning that we play a special part in building the church.

Our Bible Story is from Matthew 3:11-17. In this story, we find out that Jesus’s cousin John baptizes him. What an honor?! This is a recap from back in our October collection “The ”.

Post-Service: Go Deeper / Continue the Conversation

As a family you can: 1. Read Matthew 3:11-17 together 2. Now discuss these questions together:

5-7 YEAR OLDS: ● What did you enjoy about today’s lesson? ● How do you think John felt baptizing Jesus? ● What was your favorite bible story out of this collection?

8-11 YEAR OLDS: ● What was your favorite part from today’s lesson? ● Out of all stories we read over the last 3 months, which one is your favorite? And why? ● How can we begin to learn and memorize our favorite bible stories? ● Do you remember what September’s collection was about?

3. Practice this month’s memory verse together “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” - Romans 12:4-5 4. Pray as a family
