2 Vice President’s Report – Teresa Gifford

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a great holiday season and that Santa brought you what you wished for.

Our annual Christmas Party was held again this year at the Houston Hall. We packed the house and had a wonderful night of eating, drinking and being “merry”. The food was delicious and we had plenty to go around. I want to thank everyone who brought a side dish or dessert to share that evening. The prize drawing was once again a success. We will into getting a larger tumbler for future drawings since the one that we currently have appears to be much too small. With the suggestion from Les Wise, we transferred the tickets into a large garbage bag and shook them up that way. I want to thank Dale Wolboldt for assisting with the drawing and running around to the different tables and having members participate in drawing the winning tickets. Thanks to all who attended and helped with the set up and clean up.

The day trips are starting to fill up fast. If you want to ski at either Seven Springs or Holimont, see page 10 for trip information and turn in your application with payment.

I want to thank everyone who has helped out at our events and volunteered to run events throughout the year. It is nice to have such great members who are willing to get involved.

Hope to see you all soon at a meeting or on the slopes. As always, be safe and have a great time!

Teresa Gifford
