Pupils at St Norbert’s quickly learn By Jade Garland drama thanks to Snail Tales Theatre company. Actors visited our school and they taught us how to be real story tellers. We learnt that you can’t make a superb story without some- thing bad happening in them. Chip, one of the visitors, acted out a story with lots of problems in it. We had to tell him how to solve the problems; it was side-split- ting for us but Chip wasn’t finding it funny at all. He said, “When a bad thing happens to someone in theatre or a story the audience or readers find it funny or more interesting.” Pupils become journalists We got to come up with our own stories and act them out.
