VARSITY All varsity players will remain on campus after school. Players will eat and load the bus. All players are required to ride the bus to and from the game. No exceptions!

Freshmen Head Coach GAME DAY FOOD DROP OFF PROCEDURES Allen Harris  Please do NOT drop off food at the Boyd front office. The front office will [email protected] NOT accept food delivers for players and they will NOT call players out of class to pick up food.

 Food MUST be dropped off prior to 1:45pm in the multi-purpose facility, using the South parking lot entrance.

 Please do not deliver food between 1:45 – 3:00pm as this interferes with buses arriving for after school dismissal.

 All food should be left in the athletic conference room. There will be a designated location for Freshmen Food and JV Food in the conference room.

 Please make sure everything is labeled with the student’s name. There will be sharpies and labels on the table.

 The Athletic Office is not responsible for passing out food on Game Day.

WEEK 6 SUB-VARSITY RECAP

JV RECAP The Bronco JV Football team traveled to Clark Stadium to take on Plano West and Jasper tonight. The Broncos fell short in both games, by scores of 20-7 (Navy) and 42-6 (Red).

In the Navy game, the Broncos’ only of the night came on a 65 yard pass from Ellis Patterson to Jack Wharton. Patterson and Tyler Hart led the rushing charge for the Broncos, but were unable to find the . Boyd played well defensively, led by the play of LB Brooks Rigney, DL Isiac Preece, DL Ben Belk, and C Jasiah Barron, who had an to end a Plano West drive at the end of the 1st half.

The Red offense showed promising signs early in the game, but was unable to take advantage of good field position for much of the first half. QB Ryan McCrory scored on a long run of 60 yards for the Broncos’ only touchdown. LB Easton Harding, LB Troy Orr, and S Brennan King played well for the Broncos on Defense.

The Broncos will travel to Prosper Wednesday to take on the Eagles.

FRESHMEN RECAP The Red Team ran the well all night behind strong performances by the offensive line. Running back Isaiah Rodriguez accounted for 3 rushing on the night punching them in from 2, 9 and 8 yards. Ken Manzi ran for a pair of touchdowns and quarter back Jake Dempsey rushed for one as well. Led by Ty Cobb at inside Linebacker, the Bronco Defense shut out the Jasper offense for a final score of 42-0.

The Navy Team started quickly scoring on their first offensive play with a 38 yard from Carter Whitefield to Ethan Wesloski. The Bronco Offense would continue their dominating performance through the air with touchdown receptions of 34 and 35 yards to Caden Park and Peyton Shaw. The Bronco Offensive line played well all night clearing lanes for Jay Thompson to for 2 touchdowns on the night. Defensively the Broncos held the Jaguars to one score and even picked off a pass for another touchdown by Peyton Shaw.

The Bronco Freshman Football team will face the Prosper Eagles at home on Wednesday. The Red Game will start at 5:30 with the Navy game to follow shortly after. Come out and support your Boyd Freshman Football Team! Go Broncos! Thank You, Coach Harris

Senior Night is Friday, November 2ND. Please complete the attached Senior Night Form and submit by the October 24th deadline!

 Each senior player may have 2 escorts walk with them on Senior Night. We realize that some families may need to have more than 2 escorts. Please contact Paula Martin at 469-302-3493 to make those requests prior to submitting a form.

 A letter from Coach Drake with detailed instructions and a picture order form will be emailed and sent home with the Senior players next week.

The senior night announcements are pre-recorded a week in advance. We cannot make any changes after the script has been submitted.
