I kept my promises, made in in 2013, to deliver on all East Sussex County Council pledges. If you vote for me on the 4 May and I am re-elected, I promise to deliver again on all the pledges published in this leaflet. I will also continue with my efforts to ensure that council tax increases are kept as low as possible and to increase job opportunities, both in Rye and across the county. These efforts have so far helped to reduce the number of unemployed people in the county by more than half since 2013. Working with local Parishes and Rye Town Council has been, and will continue to be, a regular part of my role as a County Councillor. Each month, I will whenever possible, visit the five Parishes within the Eastern Rother area and the Rye Town Council. This will allow me to be aware of and act upon crucial issues concerning real life situations in Rye and the neighbouring villages.
