Taking place May 20 at the Willows Community Center, residents are invited to help ensure our community has a steady blood supply while making a life-changing differ- ence for those in need. Individuals in good health, 17 years of age or older and weighing at least 110 pounds, can donate during the COVID-19 pandemic. With safety being the top priority, Red Cross employees will follow thorough protocols to ensure the well-being of all those present. As an added benefit, all blood drawn will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Donors who test positive for COVID-19 antibodies may have the unique opportunity to help patients fighting the disease.
