Golden Sandsi menukust mõjutab osaliselt kindlasti tõsiasi, et linn on tunnistatud riigi puhtaimaks kuurordiks. Golden Sands on kuurordi laitmatu ökoloogilise puhtuse säilitamise eest pälvinud rahvus- vahelise sinise lipu märgi. Kuurordis on ideaalsed tingimused loodud spordisõpradele. 2003. aasta suvel rajati Golden Sandsi suur veelõbustuspark. Golden Sands on siinse rannikuala elavaim kuurort, mistõttu on linn noorte turistide üks meelispuhkepai- ku – kuurordis on kasiino, ajaviiteteater, arvukalt restorane, ööklubisid, varieteesid ning kaupluseid. St Konstantin St Konstantin asub Varnast 10 km kaugusel. Kuurort meelitab puhkajaid oma pehme kliima, kuldsete liiva- randade, mineraalveeallikate ja modernse infrastruktuuriga. Erilise kliima ja igihaljaste küpressidega kuurort ootab külastajaid aastaringselt. St Konstantinis on palju modernseid hotelle, spordi-, tervise- ja taastusravikeskuseid ning kauneid jahi- sadamaid. St Konstantini tasub külastada mitmel põhjusel – erilise kliima, maheda meretuule, jaheda ja värskendava õhu, saja-aastaste viigipuude, küpressi- ja pärnalõhna ning arvukate mineraalveeallikate pä- rast. St Konstantin on tuntud vanade traditsioonide ja külalislahkuse poolest. Külastajad saavad siin mööda pargi alleesid jalutada, meres supelda ning rannas päikese käes mõnuleda. Õhtuti kutsuvad mitmesugused restoranid turiste maitsvaid rahvusroogi mekkima või folklooriprogramme jälgima. Obzor Obzor jääb Varnast 60 km lõuna ning Burgasest 65 km põhja poole. Linna rajasid kreeka kolonistid ja seda tunti Heliopolise (Päikeselinna) nime all. Hiljem sai Heliopolisest kuulus roomlaste kindluslinn. Tänapäeval on Obzor populaarne Musta mere kuurort, mis on tuntud just oma laia peene liivaga ranna poolest. Selles õdusas kuurordis on elav ja kirev kesklinn, mille restoranid pakuvad oma kü- lastajatele maitsvaid rahvusköögi roogasid. Sunny Beach Sunny Beach on vaieldamatult Bulgaaria Musta mere äärse rannikuala suurim ja elavaim kuurort, mis pais- tab silma hea kvaliteediga teenuste ja sõbraliku atmosfääri poolest. Sunny Beach asub 35 km Burgasest põhja pool ning Varna lennujaamast 100 km kaugusel. Pikk kuldse liivaga rand, selge vesi, smaragdroheline meri ja puhas õhk on peamised tegurid, mis meelitavad reisijaid siia Musta mere rannale. Spordisõpru ootavad siin erinevad veespordi harrastamise võimalused: purjekad, purjelauad, veesuusad, kaatrid, skuutrid jms. Rannamõnudele pakuvad vaheldust head tenni- seväljakud, tennisekool, kasiino, ratsutamisväljak koos ratsutamiskooliga, keegliklubi ning minigolfi- ja rannavõrkpalliväljakud. Pomorie See väike kuurort asub kitsal poolsaarel, mida ümbritsevad must meri ja Pomorje järv. Kuurort paik- neb 20 km Burgasest ning umbnes 18 km Nessebarist. Pomorjet ümbritsevad viinamarjaistandused ning puuviljaaiad. The Region offers a combination of sea-side recreation tourism, route-cognitive, rural, cultural tourism and ecotourism in an area with an extraordinary variety of natural and anthropogenic tourist resources. The geographical location of the region is exceptionally favourable and the transport provision to the main tourist objects of the region is fully covered by the international airport, harbours, rail-way station and road access. The climatic conditions of the Region are determined by its geographical location. In its area several climate influences are combined but the transcontinental climate is mostly marked. The influence of the Black sea and the Mediterranian lands is obvious. The town of Malko Tarnovo is known as a climate health resort of national significance since 1967. The survey was conducted in the period between 2014 and 2020. After prior informed consent, 709 local residents from 32 settlements were interviewed. The interviews with the local population were conducted using the "face to face" technique with the help of pre-prepared original questionnaires. The study presents quantitative ethnobotanical information on the use of medicinal plants in the study area. The results were analyzed using quantitative indices: Respondent Consensus Ratio (FIC), Loyalty Level Index (FL) and Significance Value Index (IVs). A total of 332 species of medicinal plants belonging to 250 genera of 90 families have been identified for the region of the Northern Black Sea Coast. The largest number of citations are registered for the use of medicinal plants for culinary purposes and for use in human medicine. The use of medicinal plants in other household applications has been studied. On east the region is wide open to the Black sea through the 8 ports - Burgas, Ahtopol, Tzarevo, Sozopol, Pomorie, Nesebar, Rosenetz and Ribno Port, BUT two major ports on the Black Sea is Varna and Burgas. Both act as East-West transport corridor gateways of Bulgaria. Port facilities are generally adequate for bulk commodities, but lack facilities for special handling. Rehabilitation of both ports is planned. Bourgas is the second largest port in Bulgaria, and is in close proximity to Serbia, FYROM (Former Yugoslavia Republic of Macedonia), Greece and Turkey. Bourgas offers a large port facility, which can accommodate various ships and is close to a modern commercial airport. The Army has an agreement with the Bulgarian military to use it’s recreation facility located about 20 kilometers from the port, which they use to house task force personnel. Using this port provides the Commander-in-Chief, U.S. European Command, with another choice by providing another access point into the Balkans. Previously, KFOR used two ports for cargo movement supporting its troops in the U.S.-controlled sector of Kosovo—Thessaloniki, Greece and Bremerhaven, Germany.
