De Største Klubber I DK Lisa Viser Musik-Poomsae Ved Miss World De største klubber i DK Ved den seneste gennemgang af licenser (pr. 24/11) er følgende klubber det største i DTaF. På en førsteplads ligger Risskov Tkd. Klub med 260 efterfulgt af Skanderborg Tkd. Klub med 247. Gladsaxe ligger på tredjepladsen med 227 licenser efterfulgt af Københavns Tkd. Klub med 220 og Nørrebro med 209. Generelt oplever DTaF vækst i medlemstallet og vi kan med tilfredshed konstatere at vi også modtager flere ansøgninger om optagelse af nye klubber. Så 2009, hvor forbundet er vært ved VM i kamp kan betyde et fanstastisk vækstår for taekwondo i Danmark. Men målet er ikke vækst, men blivende klubber og medlemmer. Det vil vi arbejde for de kommende år, med god hjælp fra jer alle og vores nye breddekonsulent. Af Torben Hansen, Infomedarb. Lisa viser musik-poomsae ved Miss World Lisa Lents, som bekendt er Danmarks deltager ved Miss World og landsholdsudøver på tekniklandsholdet, er nu blandt de 16 bedste i konkurrencen i Sydafrika. Søndag er der talentkonkurrence ved Miss World og her vil Lisa bringe taekwondo frem i lyset for millioner af seere. Læs Lisa's hilsen fra Miss World konkurrencen nedenfor... "Kære Taekwondo Forbund! En lille hilsen fra Sydafrika fra Miss World! Jeg har en fantastisk nyhed! Der bliver jo afholdt forskellige konkurrencer, som giver direkte adgang til finalen den 13. Indtil videre er der blevet afholdt Miss Beach beauty og Top Model hvor Mexico og Rusland er gået videre, det hele har været meget politisk og arrangeret. Det var forskellige dommere til begge konkurrencer, og det var en identisk top 28 der blev valgt til begge, de store lande, Venezuela, Usa osv, som ikke kan byde på særligt meget. Der har været afholdt 2 auditions til Talent konkurrencen, hvor jeg gik videre første gang og i dag var der semifinale og uddagelse til finalen, og jeg gik videre til finalen!! Jeg er nu i Top 16 til Miss World Talent 2008, og har mulighed for at kvalificere mig direkte til finalen hvis jeg vinder talentshowet. Det er live broadcast og vi skal optræde foran flere tusind børn, det bliver fantastisk!! Jeg laver Taekwondo til musik og har fået en speciel syet taekwondo dragt af Dennis Lyngsø i pink med Miss Denmark 2008 på ryggen. :) Husk at krydse fingre for mig på søndag!! Kærligst, Lisa Lents" VM Poomsae 2008: Ky Tu Dang i forsvar af VM titel i Tyrkiet Dansk Taekwondo Forbund sender 7 udøvere til VM i de tekniske discipliner (poomsae) i Ankara – Tyrkiet og blandt dem er den regerende danske verdensmester Ky Tu Dang, Rødovre. Ky Tu Dang regnes for en af Verdens ypperligste teknikere og er, efter VM- sølv i 2006 og VM titlen i 2007, det største danske medaljehåb igen i år. Men konkurrencen fra specielt værtslandet Tyrkiet samt Korea og Iran er stærk. Forventningerne fra landsholdet, som denne gang består af flere debutanter, er nogle gode placeringer samt flere semifinale og finalepladser. Mette Seneca Jensen ansat som projektkoordinator for VM 2009 DTaF og VM 2009 Organisationskomiteen har ansat Mette Seneca Jensen som vores koordinerende led for VM 2009 projektet. Mette er 35 år, Cand.Mag - Kultur og Formidling, og kommer fra en stilling som projektleder i Dansk Røde Kors. Mette blev udvalgt blandt de over 80 ansøgere til stillingen og hun tiltræder januar 2009. Mette får kontor hos Wonderful Copenhagen, Gl. Kongevej i København. Med venlig hilsen Torben Hansen Projektleder VM 2009 VM Poomsae 2008: Lodtrækning I dag blev lodtrækningen til VM foretaget. Og det blev både godt og skidt nyt for de danske udøvere. Normalt vil en placering midt eller sidst i en gruppe være bedst, men ved lodtrækningen blev dette ikke resultatet for 3 af de danske deltagere. Derimod var der mere tilfredshed med udtrækningen af de figurer der skal køres i danskernes grupper. Det danske verdensmester Ky Tu Dang fik en blandet lodtrækning, så det bliver hårdt arbejde når hans gruppe afvikles tirsdag. Dagens head of team møde var, som sædvanlig fristes man til at sige, præget af kaos og ændringer af regelværket helt op til konkurrencestarten på VM i morgen. Trist der ikke kan komme klarhed for de aktive i god tid inden VM. Lodtræningen gav følgende startplaceringer: Master 1 Herrer: Ky Tu Dang – Rødovre (d.16/12) Start nr. 4 af 23 delt. Samarbejde mellem de to største events i Sportsåret 2009 De to fyrtårne i Sportsåret 2009, VM i Taekwondo og VM i brydning, har besluttet at samarbejde frem mod afviklingen af de to events, der løber af stablen i henholdsvis oktober og september næste år. Det er især inden for områder som rekruttering og motivering af frivillige, informations materiale til deltagere og ledere samt erfaringsudvekslings, at der tænkes i samarbejdsbaner. Ligeledes vil der blive afholdt nogle fælles pressemøder og evt. andre events frem mod de to Verdensmesterskaber. Presseansvarlig for VM i brydning Mads Bang Aaen udtaler; ”Jeg er sikker på, at dette samarbejde og denne erfaringsudveksling kan komme begge events til gode. Selvom begge events er inden for kampsportsverden, og vi ligger så tæt på hinanden, ser jeg udelukkende muligheder i dette samarbejde og ikke konkurrence. På erfaringssiden kan vi måske undgå at skulle ind i de samme blindgyder, og økonomisk tror jeg der er mulighed for, at begge events kan spare nogle penge gennem samarbejdet” Arrangementsansvarlig for VM i Taekwondo, Torben Sachmann Hansen udtaler; ”Vi har en mulighed for at skabe noget synergi på områder der ligger lige for. Selvom vilkårene for og selve VM arrangementerne er forskellige, er det helt åbenlyse fordele i samarbejdet på de beskrevne områder. Det er ligeledes vigtigt for os at den knowhow der opbygges i løbet af afviklingen kommer efterfølgende sportsevent i Danmark til gode. Vi ser derfor frem til et godt samarbejde vores VM arrangementer imellem samt med de tilknyttede partnere og Sport Event Denmark.” Souschef i Sport Event Denmark, Hanne Sejer udtaler ”Det er en rigtig god idé at samarbejde om eventafviklingen på tværs af specialforbund og events. Hver eventarrangør har sine styrker og svagheder, og når man går til opgaverne fælles, er der meget at hente. Det har vi også set i andre sammenhænge, hvor vi har bragt andre eventarrangører sammen. At det er de to VM-fyrtårne i Sportsåret, som nu går sammen i et samarbejde er ekstra glædeligt” Fakta. 2009 WTF World Taekwondo Championships Copenhagen eller VM i Taekwondo afvikles fra den 9. – 19. oktober i Ballerup Super Arena. VM i brydning afvikles fra d. 21. – 27. september i Messecenter Herning. Begge events forventer deltagelse af mere end 1000 deltager fra mere end 100 lande. Begge leverede en solid indsats i de 2 indledende figurer. Derimod blev det exit for Benedikte Werk, der efter en lidt nervøs VM start endte kun 0,07 point fra semifinalen. VM Poomsae 2008: Ky Tu Dang i VM finalen Semifinalen blev desværre endestationen for Villads Jørgensen, Risskov. Men ham kan være tilfreds med en godkendt præstation. KyTu Dang er derimod klar til finalen, hvor der er lagt op til en gyser. Pt er han kun nummer 2 efter Korea, og lige I hælende har han den tyrkiske hjemmbane-favorit. Landsholdstræner Mark Lee Larsen udtaler fra Tyrkiet: "Stillingen er ikke helt iorden - det lugter lidt af politik og forfordeling. Spændende at se hvad finalen kan byde på." WTF - Kamparealer og kampregler ændres WTF har på Council møde i Ankara vedtaget ændringer til WTF’s kampregler.
