The president is not a member of the Nominations Committee and not privy to Men’s Basketball Schedule information regarding who has been nominated or contacted so far. However, I do know

01/04/14 vs. Pittsburgh PNC Arena 12:00 PM ET that as of mid-December, they have found no takers for the position of president. 01/07/14 at Notre Dame Notre Dame, Ind. 9:00 PM ET 01/11/14 vs. Virginia PNC Arena 5:00 PM ET Let me assure you that if I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!! As I have said many times 01/15/14 at Wake Forest Winston-Salem, N.C. 9:00 PM ET before, it's the committee chairs and committee members who do all the heavy lifting. 01/18/14 at Duke Durham, N.C. 2:00 PM ET The president gets the glory and the prestige. What's not to love!!!!??? (Personally, I 01/20/14 vs. Maryland PNC Arena 9:00 PM ET hate getting up and speaking in public!) But if absolutely necessary, I would volunteer 01/26/14 vs. Georgia Tech PNC Arena 1:00 PM ET to serve again. I just want to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the 01/29/14 vs. Florida State PNC Arena 9:00 PM ET 02/01/14 at North Carolina Chapel Hill, N.C. 2:00 PM ET leadership of our club, and the president’s position is absolutely the best way to get to 02/08/14 at Miami Miami, Fla. 2:00 PM ET know our members! 02/11/14 vs. Wake Forest PNC Arena 7:00 PM ET 02/15/14 at Syracuse Syracuse, N.Y. 3:00 PM ET In summary, the names of the nominees for the Executive Committee will be published 02/18/14 at Clemson Clemson, S.C. 7:00 PM ET in your next newsletter, and we will have the election of officers during the meeting on 02/22/14 at Virginia Tech Blacksburg, Va. 2:00 PM ET February 20. This gives our new officers the opportunity to begin planning for next year 02/26/14 vs. North Carolina PNC Arena 8:00 PM ET and to recruit appointees and chairs for our committees before they actually are sworn in at our April meeting.
