An evaluation and series of watching briefs were carried out in advance of and during gravel extraction at Ellingham Farm, Blashford, Hampshire, between 1988 and 1991. Features ARCHAEOLOGICAL BACKGROUND ranging in date from Middle Bronze Age to Roman were investigated and finds dating from Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age to Saxon periods recovered from unslratified deposits.
