Alan Fox, Secretary Tom Barrio Mike Bonacio The goal of Saddleback College’s Automotive Technology Program is to prepare Pamela L. Boswell its students for employment as automotive technicians through four (4) Tommy Edwards specialized certificate options: Automotive Chassis Specialist, Automotive Engine Jesus Guerra Service Specialist, Automotive Engine Performance Specialist, and General Ralph Merced Automotive Technician. Saddleback College’s Automotive Technology Program Greg Newhouse Frank Scholl has also created Co-operative Work Experience (CWE) internships with local Gail Schwandner dealerships and independent shops. Joining the SCRTTC is another prime Vacant example of engaging an industry partner and further expanding the student’s experience. Transit Members Culver City Municipal Bus Lines Another option for their students is to complete their Associate in Science or Associate in Arts Degree requirements in order to transfer to a four-year college. Gardena Municipal Bus Lines Training is provided in both theory and practical skills in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all types of automotive systems – collectively LACMTA providing the skills and knowledge for the workforce of the future. These skills Montebello Bus Lines can now include training specific to the transit industry. Norwalk Transit OCTA Saddleback College’s recent membership was pursued with the interest and under the direction of Clifford G. Meyer, M.A., and Department Chair of the Santa Monica’s Automotive Technology Program. He immediately took advantage of the SunLine Transit System opportunity to enroll himself and an adjunct instructor in two (2) SCRTTC Electrical Train-the-Trainer courses resulting in Saddleback now having 2 (two) College Members Certified instructors in each course enabling them to be contracted to instruct on Cerritos College behalf of the SCRTTC.
