Springfield initially swung in front with back-to-back solo shots from 2B Andy Young and 3B Evan Mendoza in the 3rd, while RHP Anthony Shew preserved the 2-0 lead through his first 6.0 scoreless stanzas. The Hooks got one against Shew in the 7th with a solo from C Eduardo de Oleo, slicing the Cards lead to 2-1. Corpus Christi then came back with an RBI single from 2B Ryne Birk and a go-ahead RBI walk from RF Stephen Wrenn in the 9th, seizing the 3-2 lead. With one down in the bottom of the 9th, C singled himself aboard before Mieses sent the walk-off blast out to right field, lifting the Cardinals to the 4-3 victory.  Waino, Carlos and Yairo Rehabs… The St. Louis Cardinals have announced three Major League Rehab Assignments at Hammons Field this weekend, with RHP Adam Wainwright, RHP Carlos Martinez and INF Yairo Munoz all expected to suit up for Springfield on Sunday. Martinez started his Rehab Assignment with 2.0 innings of relief on Friday, while Munoz started at short for Springfield on Saturday and went 0x3.  Cardiac Cards… Saturday marked the club’s fifth walk-off winner in their last 39 games after they did not record a single one through the first 85 games of the season.
