No. Course Eligibility Two Years 1 M.A. in Bengali Hons. / Spl. Hons. / General Graduate (10+2+3) with qualifying marks in the subject Two Years 2 M.A. in English concerned carrying a total of at least 300 marks / Pass Graduate (10+2+2) with one- Two Years 3 M.A. in History year bridge course in relevant subject / Pass Graduate [(10+1+3) / (11+3)] with qualifying Two Years 4 M.A. in Education marks in the subject concerned carrying a total of at least 300 marks Two Years 5 M.A. in Public Administration Note: 1. A candidate with M.A in a subject is eligible to get admission in M.A. in any other subject (other than M.A. in Education) offered through Distance Mode irrespective of whether or not that subject was offered by him/her at the degree stage. But the candidates with M.A. in any professional subject like Music, Drama, Film Studies, Physical Education (M.P. Ed.), General Education (M.Ed.) etc. will not be eligible to avail this provision. 2. In case of M.A. in Education, Graduates or post-graduates with B.Ed. or equivalent degrees are also eligible besides those who meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions. 3. In case of M.A. in Public Administration, the concerned subject is either Public Administration or Political Science. Date of Availability and Submission of forms: September 13, 2016 to October 28, 2016 (Without Late Fee), except holidays. November 02, 2016 to December 03, 2016 (with late fee of Rs. 200/- only), except holidays. Admission Process 1) Applicants are advised to visit the DODL website http://dodl.klyuniv.ac.in/ for downloading application and other forms and payment of course fees on and from September 13, 2016. 2) For downloading Application and Enrolment forms, click “DODL: M.A. Part I Admission, 2016-2017” and then click the following buttons: - 2 - Application Form Enrolment Form 3) Payment of Course Fees: Online through “SBI Collect” (Steps will be available at the DODL Website http://dodl.klyuniv.ac.in from September 13, 2016). 4) After online payment of Course Fee through “SBI Collect”, duly filled in Application Form and Enrolment Form accompanied by 03 (three) stamp size colour recent photograph of the applicant, 02 (two) photocopies of Bank Payment Confirmation Receipt of SBI Collect, self-attested copy of mark sheets of all previous public examinations passed, and proof of date of birth, are to be submitted to the DODL office or respective study centres. All original mark sheets/certificates must be produced at the time of admission for verification. 5) Students are required to preserve Bank Payment Confirmation Receipt carefully for future reference. It should be carefully noted that fees of any kind once deposited will not be refunded. 3) There is no age bar in admission into the different courses of the DODL—i.e. admission is open to any person of any age within eligibility criteria. 4) There is no cut-off year for any course in admission. 5) Two Degree Programmes cannot be allowed to be pursued simultaneously. 6) DODL reserves the right to postpone the course(s) if viable numbers of candidates are not admitted.
