(ii) five years experience in security/intelligence. 6. Deputy Director 01 By transfer on Transfer on deputation : (Technical) deputation (i) Indian Police Service Officers holding post of Superintendent of Police or Commandant/ Dy. Commandant of the Central Police Organisation; or (ii) Deputy Superintendent of Police of the pay scale of Rs.8000‐13,500/‐ or equivalent with 5 years regular service in the grade; and (iii) Deputy Superintendent of Police of the pay scale of Rs.6500‐10,500/‐ or equivalent with 8 years regular service in the grade; and a) Possessing a degree from a recognized University or equivalent and five years experience of handling surveillance equipment/electronic detection devices / intelligence background etc. 7. Deputy Director 01 Transfer on Transfer on deputation : Officers of the (Intelligence) deputation/ re‐ Central Police Organisations including IB, employment RAW, CRPF & Cabinet Sectt:‐ (a) (i) Holding the post of Superintendent of Police or equivalent; on regular basis; or (ii) Officers of the Rank of Dy. Superintendent of Police in the pay scale of Rs. 8000‐13,500/‐ or Rs. 6500‐1010,500/‐with 5/8 years regular Service in the grade and (b) Possessing experience in intelligence and intelligence liaison work. FOR EX‐SERVICEMEN ON DEPUTATION/RE‐ EMPLOYMENT : Armed forces personnel of the rank of Lt. Col./Major or equivalent who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possessing experience in intelligence and intelligence liaison work shall also be considered. 8. Assistant 26 20% by Promotion Deputation/Absorption : Commissioner 80% by deputation/ of Security absorption/ Re‐ Officers under Central Government or (CA) employment State Governments or Union Territory or Central Police Organizations (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department ; or (ii) Holding five year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in Pay Band‐II ( Rs.9300‐34,800/‐) with grade pay 4600/‐ or Equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and (b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Three years experience in matter relating to security or intelligence including framing or implementation of policies. Deputation or Re‐employment (For Armed Forces personnel) The Armed Forces personnel holding the rank of Lieutenant or Captain or equivalent who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and possessing the qualifications and experience as indicated above shall also be considered. If selected, such officers will be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re‐employment terms. In case such eligible officers have retired or have been transferred to reserve before the actual selection to the post is made their appointment will be on re‐ employment basis. 9. Asstt. (b) Possessing the following educational qualification and experience. (i) Degree from a recognized university or equivalent. (ii) Two years experience in Security/Intelligence matters including framing and implementation of policies on security. 11. Sub Inspector 11 By Promotion failing Transfer/ transfer on deputation: which by transfer on Officers from Central Police Organizations deputation or State or Union Territory Police Officers in failing both by the rank of:‐ transfer. i) Sub‐Inspector of police or Equivalent; or ii) Assistant Sub‐Inspector of police or equivalent with five years regular service in the grade. 12. Asstt. Sub 07 Promotion Deputation: Inspector failing which by Officers from Central Government or State deputation/ Government or Union Territory or Central absorption Police Organization (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or (ii)With five year regular service in the rank of Head Constable in Pay Band‐I (Rs. 5200‐20,200/‐) with Grade Pay 2000/‐ or 2400/‐ Experience: Three years experience in the field in the executive capacity or security or intelligence 13. Head Constable 12 By promotion failing DEPUTATION/ABSORPTION : which by deputation Officers of Central Police Organization or or absorption State Police Organization or Union Territory Police Organization; (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre department; or (ii) Constable with 3 years regular basis. 14. Staff Car Driver 02 Promotion failing Head Constable from Central Police Grade‐I which by deputation organization / State Government Police/ Union Territory Police having 15 years of regular service with experience / qualification mention below:‐ (i) must have a valid Driving license for heavy /light motor vehicle with at least 10 years of driving a motor vehicle, (ii) Must be able to read English Numeral and figures, (iii) must have a thorough knowledge of Traffic Regulations, (iv) must have good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and be able to locate faults and rectify minor running defects; and (v) must be able to clear carburettor and plug. 16. Staff Car Driver 02 Promotion failing Head Constable/ Constable from Central Grade‐II which by deputation Police organization / State Government Police/ Union Territory Police having minimum 09 years of regular service with 5 years experience of Driving a motor vehicle with the experience / qualification mention below:‐ (i) must have a valid Driving license for heavy /light motor vehicle. (ii) Must be able to read English Numeral and figures, (iii) must have a thorough knowledge of Traffic Regulations, (iv) must have good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and be able to locate faults and rectify minor running defects. 17 Staff Car Driver 03 Promotion failing Constable Drivers from Central Police Ordinary Grade which by deputation organization / State Government Police organisation / Union Territory Police with minimum 05 years of regular service and having the experience qualifications as mentioned below:‐ (i) Must have a valid Driving license for heavy /light motor vehicle with minimum of 3 years Driving a motor vehicle. (ii) Must be able to read English Numeral and figures, (iii) Must have a thorough knowledge of Traffic Regulations, (iv) Must have good knowledge of petrol and diesel engine working and be able to locate faults and rectify minor running defects. Ex‐Servicemen on re‐employment:‐ The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualification prescribed shall also be considered. Such person would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces. They may be continued on re‐employment. 18.
