Office of the District & Sessions Judge, South-East District OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT & SESSIONS JUDGE, SOUTH-EAST DISTRICT, SAKET COURTS COMPLEX, NEW DELHI. ORDER NO. 25 DATED 15.08.2020 Pursuant to Order of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi bearing No. 322/RG/DHC/2020 dated 15.08.2020 and in continuation to this Office Order No. 24 dated 01.08.2020, the functioning of the Courts of South-East District w.e.f. 16.08.2020 to 31.08.2020 shall be as per the following: 1. The Courts of South-East District shall henceforth take up all the cases listed before court concerned though videoconferencing. However, evidence shall be recorded only in ex-parte and uncontested matters where the same is required to be tendered by way of affidavit. 2. Physical hearings shall be permitted in those matters only where a grave urgency is involved and hearing through videoconferencing is not feasible. In all such instances of physical hearings, the norm of social distancing be scrupulously adhered to. Further, the following Judicial Officers of South-East District, Saket Courts Complex, New Delhi are hereby authorized to hear and dispose of fresh bail/urgent Criminal Applications in the cases where charge sheet has not been filed and also in case of fresh arrest and remand of the accused in case of special enactment like Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the first appearance of accused on arrest may be made before the Duty MM. However, production of the accused for the first and subsequent remands or where the final report/Charge sheet is yet to be filed by the Investigating Authority, the accused/UTP shall be produced before the Ld.
