The airport is focused on having the best image possible. Menorca Airport has implemented an Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System, certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Since the end of 2012 the airport is in the European EMAS register, that promotes the improvement of environmental performance.

In 2015 the airport was awarded as the Best small public organization of the year due to infrastructure improvements and the reduction of water and electricity supplies.

Menorca Airport was awarded with Best Hygiene Measures by Region (Europe) at the ASQ (Airport Service Quality) Awards given by the Airports Council International (ACI) in 2020.

Additionally Menorca airport was the top-rated airport among the 55 international airports evaluated in a satisfaction survey given to Thomson Airways passengers in 2014.

Menorca airport receives the ECO-INNOVATION Award at the XV ACI Europe Award in 2019.

Menorca was named Best Airport by Size and Region (2-5 million passengers in Europe), at the ASQ (Airport Service Quality) awards given by the Airports Council International (ACI) in 2019.

Menorca airport was certified by the Spanish Aviation Agency (AESA), according to EU 139/2014 regulation.

Menorca Airport has Level 1 certification under ACI Europe’s Airport Carbon Accreditation Programme for the measurement of its carbon footprint.

As part of the environmental initiatives that Menorca Airport is implementing, it has acquired new electric vehicles and installed photovoltaic modules.
