Alzenau The wave-like dividing line of the coat of arms Basic data Großkrotzenburg refers to the geographical location of the town Hainburg on the River Main, which is also part of the town’s name. The town was formed from the Federal state: Bavaria individual parishes of Dettingen and Klein-Krotzenburg Großwelzheim in 1975. From Frankfurt Rhein-Main Airport There are S-Bahn and regional train connections from the airport railway station to Kahl am Main station with changes at Hanau Central or Frankfurt South. Depending on the connection, the 8 journey lasts around 1 hour. You can reach the site by car in around 45 minutes. 17
17 By car Karlstein am Main is conveniently situated on the state road 3308 (formerly federal highway 8) between Aschaffenburg and Hanau with a direct connection to the A45 Gießen - Aschaffenburg motorway (Karlstein exit). The A3 Frankfurt- Nuremberg motorway is only a few kilometers away in Seligenstadt Kleinostheim. From the north: take the A45 in the direction of Seligenstadt junction to the exit for Karlstein. From the south: take the A3 to the Seligenstadt Junction, then the A45 to the exit for Karlstein. From the motorway exit for Karlstein, proceed to the traffic lights, turn right and then continue Seligenstadt is a modern town with a rich history.
