MUSIC FOR THE 20TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
St. Catherine’s is working to create the safest environment possible in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because singing creates the most risk when people are gathered, we ask the community to refrain from public singing. Our music ministers record music for our liturgies. If in church, please follow along with this music and pray it in your heart. If at home, we encourage you to sing.

This song was composed by Eliza Gilkyson after the devastating Asian tsunami of 2004, as an invocation to compassion and as a song of prayer and comfort. It was arranged by Craig Hella Johnson in 2008. PRAYER OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
