Competition (The “Competition”)

Terms and Conditions of the Listen Up! Competition (the “Competition”)

1. The Competition is open to Jersey based year 12 and 13 students (aged 16 to 18 years) in higher education.

2. There is no entry fee to enter the Competition.

3. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will result in disqualification.

4. The submission form must be completed and submitted to Walkers, along with your video file saved with your first and last name, no later than 4 February 2020 in order to participate in the Competition. Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.

5. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries not received for whatever reason.

6. We will respond to you via email if you have made it to the shortlist of applicants and invite you to present your speech to a panel of judges at the Walkers office in the week commencing 10 February 2020.

7. The winner will be notified by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not acknowledge receipt of the email within 3 days of it being sent, Walkers reserves the right to withdraw the prize and choose an alternative winner.

8. The Competition winner will receive a £200 cash prize (no other alternatives) and will be given the opportunity to deliver their speech at the Walkers’ International Women’s Day 2020 event titled: A celebration of liberation through the generations event.

9. Walkers decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
