 Perform the duties of principal timpanist for several American professional symphonic organizations in all rehearsal, concert and musical activities.

 Performed duties of solo timpanist with the Philharmonic in concert, on tour, and in recording with the orchestra. Recorded with the orchestra for the EMI/Angel, Chandos, Sony, and Aurora labels. Toured with the orchestra to the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Performed under the baton of conductors such as , Paaavo Berglund, Richard Hickox, Rafael Fruhbeck de Burgos, Zubin Mehta, Sir Neville Marriner, and others.

 Performed as soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in performances of Bartok’s Concerto for Two , Percussion, and Orchestra, and in performances of the final movement of Werner Tharichen’s Concerto for Timpani and Orchestra.

 Taught applied percussion to the students at Manglerud High School, Oslo, ; in addition to teaching individual lessons, was responsible for coaching and conducting the school percussion ensemble at various public concerts.  Administered artist-in residence program for the Evansville-Vanderburgh Public School System, including in-class demonstrations, booking of guest artists and ensembles from the University of Evansville to perform at the schools. Worked with school officials to plan and execute program.

 Taught applied percussion to percussion major and minor students at the University of Evansville; assumed responsibility for preparing and teaching percussion methods classes to music education majors. In addition, coached and conducted the University Percussion Ensemble.
