New York, NY – Today, the non-partisan voter registration organization HeadCount announced it will provide a free, live webcast to “Soundtrack to History,” a first-of-its-kind Election Day concert where an all-star band jams live to the election results. Presented by Magic Hat Brewing Company, the festivities take place at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on Tuesday evening, and will be streamed live on nugs.tv and Qello Concerts starting at 8:45 PM ET.

As the polls begin to close on Tuesday November 8th, the election results will appear on the giant video screens at Brooklyn Bowl. Then, shortly before the first key state results are announced, Everyone Orchestra and a slew of special guests will take the stage and begin to musically interpret the returns in real-time. They’ll use the election results and the mood of the crowd as a muse for improvisation, creating a night of truly historic music unlike any election viewing party in the country.

Tickets are $25 for general admission, $75 for VIP and $250 for Benefactor, and are on sale now at brooklynbowl.com.

The lineup for the evening includes a recently-announced appearance by keyboard virtuoso Marco Benevento. He’ll join an already stellar list of performers including Steve Kimock, members of the Disco Biscuits (Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner), moe. (Vinnie Amico), Snarky Puppy (Jay Jennings, Mike Maher, Justin Stanton and Chris Bullock), Big Gigantic (Jeremy Salken), Twiddle (Mihali Savoulidis), Band (Natalie Cressman), Jans Ingber (formerly of The Motet) and Karina Rykman (Marco Benevento Band). Everyone Orchestra’s Matt Butler will conduct the musical adventure.

Magic Hat also co-presented election themed concerts with HeadCount in 2008 and 2012, which included surprise guest appearances by , Warren Haynes, and John Medeski.

This year’s event will mark the end of HeadCount’s record-breaking 2015-16 voter turnout campaign. Using social media and concerts as vehicles to reach Millennials, HeadCount registered more than 150,000 new voters for this election – a 40% increase compared with 2012 – and staged voter registration drives at more than 1,500 live music events.

The organization partnered with Pandora, MTV, Ben & Jerry’s, D’Angelico Guitars, Patagonia, Clean Energy Advisors and Billboard in various capacities this year, and was embedded on national tours by the Dixie Chicks, Band, , and Dead & Co.

Just last week, Rolling Stone covered HeadCount’s #GoVote campaign, which organized hundreds of musicians and celebrities to post photos on social media with the #GoVote hashtag. The campaign, featuring posts by Stephen Colbert, James Franco, , , Russell Simmons, Conan O’Brien, Zoe Kravitz, Chelsea Handler, and many others, directs voters to HeadCount.org for information on early voting, polling place locations and state ballot initiatives.
