SCURTA PREZENTARE A SOCIETATII Sectorul în care activează AIT este cel al transporturilor aeriene de persoane şi mărfuri. Raportat la numarul de pasageri transportati, Aeroportul Timisoara este pe locul doi, dupa aeroportul din Cluj Napoca si Aeroporturi Bucuresti. Clienţii direcţi ai AIT se pot clasifica în următoarele categorii: operatorii aerieni care utilizează serviciile AIT pentru plecarea/sosirea/tranzitul curselor pe care acestea le operează; firmele de expediţii rapide; firme de servicii şi care au închiriat spaţii de la AIT (închiriere autoturisme, restaurante, etc.) Utilizatorii finali ai serviciilor AIT sunt persoanele fizice (pasagerii) Datorită faptului că serviciile AIT sunt foarte specifice şi puţin diversificate (servicii specifice destinate companiilor aeriene, închiriere de spaţii şi exploatarea parcărilor), vânzarea acestora se face în mod direct fără intermediari. La AIT există un potenţial de dezvoltare în 3 direcţii: - Pe termen scurt, deschiderea de noi destinatii si cresterea frecventelor de operare de catre companiile ce opereaza regulat pe AIT, fapt ce va putea duce la cresterea semnificativa a numărului de pasageri în următorii 3 ani.

    Monetary Conditions in the Kingdom of Serbia (1884-1914) Branko Hinić, National Bank of Serbia Milan Šojić, National Bank of Serbia Ljiljana Đurđević, National Bank of Serbia Abstract: From 1884 to 1914, the Privileged National Bank of the Kingdom of Serbia managed to establish and maintain relatively stable monetary conditions. On the one hand, its interest rates and lending policy contributed to the lowering and stabilization of exceptionally high market interest rates, and on the other, the National Bank managed to preserve relative stability of the domestic currency. The conversion of paper money to gold or silver was ensured at all times, except in two instances – at the outbreak of the Balkan Wars and World War I. The National Bank could not eliminate agio, but did the best it could to ease its fluctuations. Agio declined as a result of a sharp turnabout in public finances never again to reach the level prior to 1903. The effectiveness of the National Bank in achieving relatively stable monetary conditions is particularly important in light of the circumstances prevailing at the time: wars and economic crises, budget deficits and internal political upheavals. It would be right to say that monetary conditions were largely shaped by the state of public finances. As budget expenditures outstripped the revenues, the government was forced to look for additional funds to cover the deficit by borrowing either abroad or locally, primarily from the National Bank. This had a direct negative effect on the level of gold reserves and indirectly affected the stability of the domestic currency and Bank lending activity.

    Bojan Marković: National Bank of Serbia’s outlook on inflation Speech by Mr Bojan Marković, Vice Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, at the presentation of the Inflation Report, Belgrade, 16 May 2012. * * * Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed members of the press and fellow economists, Declining steadily over the last year, inflation fell in April to 2.7% year-on-year, its lowest level since comparable records are available from the beginning of 1980. Consistent with our projections from the previous Inflation Reports, the inflation figure is slightly below the lower bound of the target tolerance band for April. From May, however, we expect inflation to rise at a moderate pace and to move temporarily around the upper bound of the target tolerance band in late 2012 and the first half of 2013, only to return back towards the target thereafter. Gross domestic product declined in the first quarter due to extremely cold weather, but also due to the contraction in economic activity of our key foreign trade partners. Recessionary trends in the euro area will continue to have a negative impact on the Serbian economy in the remainder of the year, but modest economic growth of 0.5% is still expected in 2012 given the start of production in the automotive industry. The National Bank of Serbia last revised its key policy rate in January by cutting it down to 9.5%. In April, the National Bank of Serbia amended the Decision on Required Reserves, lowering the FX reserve requirement ratio and increasing the share of FX required reserves to be allocated in dinars.

Interdependence of industry and roads is quite evident because roads, in addition to their main function concerning the transport of people and goods, also generate growth and development of all places through which the road network passes as well as all other which are indirectly connected with motorways and other important routes in the Republic of Serbia. Thus it is the main dedication of the PE “Roads of Serbia” to achieve what is expected from us – to successfully finish all investments and provide the same level of quality of all the roads in Serbia with constant increase of the level of traffic safety, with cordial assistance of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure. This is an imperative of our work, not only because of the expectations in front of us regarding the accession to the European Union, but also because good roads are one of the pillars of every serious and modern country. Road towards the achievement of big results starts with the devotion of individuals, each one of us. Owing to an exceptional devotion of the employees in the PE “Roads of Serbia”, achievement of the adopted plans is possible, regardless of the difficulties and not always favourable work conditions which the time sets upon us.
