Renovators wanted to keep the authentic look of the original Queenslander but use a product that would overcome the many shortcomings and inconsistencies of the timber plank. Easycraft began manufacturing (by hand) a VJ panel that was quicker and easier to install, based on a more durable substrate, had clean grooved lines and included a patented hidden joining system. They created a 1200 wide panel that removed the need to use individual planks, thus speeding up the installation process and eliminating air gaps that come with multiple plank joins. Additionally the panels are preprimed during the manufacturing process providing a smooth surface ready for final coat application. The range of decorative profiles has grown over the years to cover both traditional & contemporary styling.
