This year, FOX broadcast network, FOX Sports 1, FOX Sports Regional Networks, FOXSports.com, FOX Sports GO, FOX Sports Radio and FOX Deportes offer the most comprehensive coverage ever of Major League Baseball’s World Series, as the American League Champion Kansas City Royals square off against the National League Champion San Francisco Giants. FOX Sports’ coverage of the 110th Fall Classic, the 15th consecutive broadcast by FOX and the network’s 17th overall, begins Tuesday, Oct. 21, live and in prime time from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Seven-time Emmy Award-winner Joe Buck calls play-by-play for his 17th World Series, and this October welcomes analysts Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci into the broadcast booth, both calling their first World Series. MLB on FOX insider and FOXSports.com senior baseball writer Ken Rosenthal and veteran reporter Erin Andrews offer coverage from the dugouts. Kevin Burkhardt anchors FOX’s World Series pregame and postgame coverage presented by Chevrolet live on site, and is joined by Cleveland Indians outfielder Nick Swisher and Gabe Kapler, both past World Champions, and Hall of Famer Frank Thomas for all games. Three-time World Champion and 2013 World Series MVP David Ortiz joins FOX’s pregame and postgame coverage for Games 1 and 2.
