    CORTLAND FOOTBALL 2019 TEam Guide Red Dragons Empire 8 Runner-up, Postseason Qualifier in 2018 Cortland placed second in the Empire 8 with a 5-2 league record and finished 7-3 overall during the 2018 season. The Red Dragons’ three losses were by only a combined 13 points. It marks LSU's second appearance in three weeks on ESPN. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-2 mark after dropping a last-second 13-10 decision to UAB last Saturday. Tennessee is 2-1 after posting a 70-3 win over Louisiana-Monroe. Both teams are 0-1 in league play as the Tigers fell to Auburn, 34-17, two weeks ago, while the Vols fell to Florida, 27-23. Saturday’s game will mark the first between the teams since a 42- 20 win by Vols in Knoxville in 1993. Tennessee owns an 18-3-3 record all-time vs. the Tigers. TIGERS FALL TO UAB ON LAST SECOND FIELD GOAL, 13-10 UAB’s Rhett Gallego kicked a 32-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Blazers to an unlikey 13-10 win over LSU in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.
