I have a 710-14IKB and I cannot get my camera to work despite trying every single solution listed on the internet. I have updated all the drivers. I have checked to make sure camera is turned on in privacy. I have checked my f8 button (lol). My antivirus software is not blocking it. When I look at my camera driver, it says it is working properly - below is a screenshot of my device manager. When I attempt to open my computer camera, I get error message 0xA00F4244 (0xC00DABE0) and then the app closes out. When I try to open my camera in other apps like skype, it says unknown error or camera not available. PLEASE HELP ME. Do you think this may be a hardware issue? Are their any other ways I can attempt to get my camera to work that I have not tried yet? Any advice is appreciated. 170449 Page Views. This package contains the files needed for installing the Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework driver. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified. To install this package please do the following: - Make sure that all system requirements are met. - Save the downloadable package on an accessible location (such as your desktop). - Locate and double-click on the newly-downloaded file. - Allow Windows to run the file (if necessary). - Read EULA (End User License Agreement) and agree to proceed with the installation process. - Follow the on-screen instructions. - Close the wizard and perform a system reboot to allow changes to take effect. About Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework: Usually, device functionality is ensured by its drivers, firmware, and/or BIOS packages, and the product can be used for its purpose once these files are installed. However, in order to expand functionality, as well as usability, owners can make use of various utilities. Installing these packages is most of the times quite an easy process, and may or may not require a system reboot. Still they can be restricted to certain operating systems (or bit architectures), and existing Internet connection, or even specific components. If all requirements are met, simply save the downloadable file (extract it if needed), run the available setup, and follow all instructions for a complete and successful installation. However, since there are a huge number of device utilities provided by various developers and manufacturers, it would be a good idea to check any provided information regarding the installation steps, or just follow the on-screen instructions. To sum up: if you wish to improve your device’s usability and functionality, click the download button, and install the package. Also, check back with our website as often as possible in order to stay up to speed with latest releases. It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available. Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer. Camera suddenly not working. I use my built-in webcam for work every day (which involves video calls) and I have for the last year or so with the same laptop. I hadn't done anything new with my laptop in terms of hardware or software or anything recently. Here are my system specifications: LAptop: Lenovo YOGA 710-151KB. OS: Windows 10 Home, previously version 1803, now 1903. EasyCamera (Manufacturer: AzureWave) Yesterday, it stopped working. I was unable to use the camera to take a photo with the Camera app or with facebook messenger's photo capability. Eventually, after trying several times it started working again, but only occasionally. Then it failed during my work hours. I already tried the suggestions on this page Camera app and webcams help: And I also tried all the suggestions on the page Camera does not work in Windows 10. None of those suggestions made a difference. My privacy settings shouldn't be blocking the camera for anything, my driver is updated and it doesn't change anything to Disable and Enable, Roll back, or Uninstall and Reinstall, either. Then I tried updating from Windows 10 version 1803 to the newest version 1903. At first this seemed to help - I got the camera to work in multiple different apps where it wasn't working before, I though it always took several seconds for it to start functioning properly. That was until a few hours ago, when it stopped working again entirely, and I haven't gotten it to work once since then. Curiously, since updating Windows 10, my display seems to have a kind of soft orangish hue to it, like it would if I had it set to a Night display (which I don't). This flashes back to a normal bright white display very briefly when I try to use the camera, and also very occasionally at apparently random times. I don't mind this (it's a bit softer on my eyes), but it's kind of weird. At this point I feel like the only thing I can do is go out and buy a USB Webcam device or something to use. But of course I would prefer not to spend money if I don't need to, and I am also worried that there is some kind of software problem with Windows 10 that I'll also have with another webcam. Camera not working in Levono Yoga 710-14IKB after update. After software update my camera is not working with any application. It's showing an error code 0xA00F4271 (0x80070001).
