On January 13, 2011, Brooke Ashley Benfield, age 21 of Hickory, was convicted of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon in Superior Court of Alexander County. She was sen- tenced to 60-81 months in the Department of Corrections, and was ordered to pay restitution WEISNER BENFIELD in the amount of $1,890.99. The case was in reference to the armed robbery at Bethlehem Pharmacy on May 16, 2010. Other co-defendants’ cases are pending, according to Chief Deputy Tod Jones of the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. HUFFMAN PERRYMAN According to Alexander County Sheriff Chris Bowman, members of his office arrested and charged Charles Monroe Weisner, age 48 of Hickory, with robbery with a dangerous weapon; Johnny Lee Huffman, age 28 of Hickory, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon; and Jerry Oscar Perryman, age 74 of Hickory, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery of a business.
