A Letter from the Head Prefect

Hey students! I’m Jocelyn, the Head Prefect of SLO! I hope you all had a fun holiday break. I’m super excited for term 2 and I hope you all are too! It’s a shame we can’t be in the building at the moment, but on the bright side, online learning has been going very well. Even though we’re apart, we all still have a great sense of community! The Student Life Organization and our departments have been working very hard on planning great activities for you in 2021! Trade Updates!!!!

This trade was a multi- team deal including the Nets, Rockets, Pacers, and Cavaliers. • Nets Receive: (Rockets), 2024 second round pick (from Cleveland) • Rockets Receive: Victor Oladipo (Pacers), Dante Exum (Cavaliers), Rodions Kurcus (Nets) and 3 first round draft picks and 4 first round swap picks. Also, a 2022 first round draft pick from Cleveland (via Milwaukee) • Cavaliers Receive: (Nets), Taurean prince (Nets) • Pacers Receive: Caris LeVert and a future second round draft pick (Rockets) The Nets now have a “Big Three” with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and now newly added player James Harden. The Rockets lose this trade as they lose James Harden, but they got Victor Oladipo from the Pacers and a lot of draft picks in the future.
