Start with a visit to the colourful Shri Kali Temple () which was built during the British Colonial area. The temple is renowned for its colourful sculptures, especially the roof which has interesting images of many Hindu gods. Stop in Chinatown at Kheng Hock Keong temple (Chinese/Taoist), the largest and oldest Chinese temple in Yangon. Visit the Synagogue (Judaism) and learn about the Jewish community (inside visit of temple is subject to the availability of curator). Continue to the Mogul Shia Mosque (Islam) dating back to the mid-nineteenth century. The building contains one of the few architectural domes still standing in Yangon. Visit to St Mary Cathedral (Catholicism) which was designed by a Dutch architect and the construction was completed in 1899. It is beautifully decorated with colourful bricks together with stained glass windows. Drive to Botahtaung pagoda (Buddhism), said to contain Buddha relics, near the Yangon River and. Many Buddhist people still have strong believe in (spirit) believing to be grant their wishes. To understand more of the Burmese belief, visit Bo Bo Gyi shrine, a guardian spirit of Botahtaung Pagoda, in the pagoda compound. Next stop is Mya Nan Nwe shrine (Animism), believed to be a keeper of the treasure trove and her shrine attracts many devotees. If you wish, you can have a quick chat with a fortune teller on the pagoda platform and you can learn about the Burmese zodiac signs and enjoy listening your horoscope.
