Jessica Joy Seria Reynoso is of African-American-Filipino descent, and lives with her adoptive parents and family in the Philippines. Her first serious engagement with the music world was in 2013, when she auditioned for “The Voice Philippines” and captivated the hearts of the judges and audience with her powerful rendition of Alicia Keys’ “Fallin” song. The quartet first appeared on the local music scene in 2005 and their debut album “Fragmented”, released in 2006, jumped straight to the top of Tower Records’ list of best sellers. Up Dharma Down received big support not just from music fans, but fellow musicians and music industry insiders as well.

The group has been enjoying exposure in the region, performing in Hong Kong and The Mosaic Music Festival in Singapore.

Up Dharma Down has received many accolades, both locally and abroad. They most notably swept up the top awards during the 2009 NU Rock Awards. Ringmaster

The Ringmaster is the persona/stage name of Manila based multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Francis Lorenzo. The same persona is used in another Manila- based shoegazing/indie band, the multi-award winning Sleepwalk Circus. Often described as being “simple yet intricate and somehow still grand”, the songs Francis has released are thought to be more spacious, direct, emotional, and deeply constructed than those he had written under Sleepwalk Circus. He is set to release his solo debut this July 2013, entitled “Delusion of Reference” under Terno Recordings.

Skymarines

Maude

Maude’s music can be described as post alternative rock, with a hint of jingly pop. The Charmes

encounters with a yeti

Manila-bred quiet, space-noise mongers “encounters with a yeti” is a group of musicians intent on creating music that they define as “tonal poems”. In keeping with the acoustic music concept they adhere to, encounters with a yeti eschew lyrics, as they consider them a distraction between the musician and the listener’ this makes all their compositions purely emotion-based instrumentals. Their material has been described in many ways, but they refuse to be pigeonholed into any specific genre.
