9 10 11 The Northwest Chilterns local area priorities

The priorities for the area were identified at a workshop held in 2011. Prior to the workshop, the views of residents and local organisations were gathered and this information was given to workshop attendees. The following priorities were identified at the workshop. The top actionable priorities will be worked on by the LAF and also updated on a regular basis as these are taken forward. The Local Priorities budget will be allocated to the actionable priorities.

Strategic priorities: the LAF will monitor and lobby on behalf of these priorities

Anti-social behaviour in some parishes/ levels of crime/lack of visible policing

Town planning/inappropriate developments

Affordable housing—especially for local people who wish to stay in the area and encourage new residents who will in turn support the local economy
