Our prayer is that this year's program will be a life-changing event for you and others who have come from near and far to attend this forum. We hope you will approach the Lectures with the following picture etched in your mind and heart... ... If is evening. We have climbed an outside staircase to Emily Y. Lemley a second-story room in the ancient City of God. The feast of Agoura Hills, California Passover has arrived, and we have seated ourselves around a Tuesday, April 25 "seder" meal. The mood is warm and expectant. However, it is a bit ominous as well: there's a feeling of danger in the air. Jesus speaks with deep emotion. "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer." We lean closer to catch every syllable. It is a crucial moment in His ministry— a time to say good-bye, a time to say those final words of instruction and encouragement. A moment when Eternal Truth is emanating from the Upper Room. And we are there. In memory. Inspirit. We're glad you've joined us. Please let us know how we may serve you. All of us in the Office of Church Relations, plus more than 100 Pepperdine students, want this to be a special week of spiritual renewal for you, your family and your friends.
