2014 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival www.TulipFestival.org 3 DETAILED travel DIRECTIONS CELEBRATE SPRING AT TULIP TOWN! These detailed instructions should help you get from I-5 Exits to the tulip growing area. Exits 230 and 221 are recommended during peak travel times.

EXIT Burlington Exit Purchase cut and potted tulips and garden plants. 230 Visit the Art Gallery and Gift Shop. Enjoy face painting, kite flying, Exit I-5 and head west on SR 20 toward Anacortes espresso and snacks. Trolley rides 10-4 daily (weather permitting). Proceed west on SR 20 for 3 miles until you reach Best Rd/Farm To Market Rd; Turn Left on Best Rd and proceed 1.7 miles until you reach McLean Rd. Open Daily April 1–30 Admission $5 per adult This will put you at the McLean Rd roundabout, in the center of the tulip growing area. 9am–5pm Children 6 & Under FREE There are numerous routes you can follow – consult the Festival map to decide. (later if weather permits) (sorry, no pets) EXIT Conway Exit 15002 Bradshaw Rd., Mount Vernon, WA 98273 221 Exit off Interstate 5 and head west toward LaConner Proceed approximately 0.1 mile. Enter the roundabout and turn onto Fir Island Rd and proceed west 5.1 miles where the road curves to the left and up an incline to a bridge over the Skagit River. Continue on over the bridge for 3.1 miles when you will arrive at the intersection of Best and Calhoun roads. You are now at the southern edge of the tulip growing area. From here, use the Festival map to visit events and ac- tivities, find your favorite field or visit the gardens, RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town. EXIT Mount Vernon Exit 226 Exit off I-5 and head west for 0.1 mile Order bulbs. Division St for 0.5 miles (you will cross the Skagit River) Turn Left onto S Wall St; Wall St turns into McLean Rd in 249 feet; Continue on McLean Rd for 2.5 miles. OR continue onto W Division St for 2.3 miles (you will cross the Skagit River) Turn Left onto Avon Allen Rd for 1.1 miles; Turn Right onto McLean Rd and proceed 1 mile to Beaver Marsh Rd. At this point you can turn Left onto Beaver Marsh Rd and proceed 0.4 miles to RoozenGaarde. Or, you can proceed on for 1 mile and turn right onto Bradshaw Rd and proceed 0.5 miles to Tulip Town.
