The one-year anniversary of the death of Eastern student Andrea Will went by Wednesday with her friends and members of her former sorority remembering her. “She is greatly missed and everyone is thinking about her today,” said Jeri Thrasher, a sophomore family consumer sciences major and Miss Willís former roommate. Ron Rauch, of Aurora, who attended Batavia High School with Miss Will, said he remembers her as a friendly girl who always smiled. “She was a really sweet girl. If she was having a bad day, she would never turn on you or have a negative attitude,” he said. “The Lord has a special place for Andrea Will her in heaven.” Jennifer Banning, a junior speech and lan- guage pathology major and president of the Sigma Kappa sorority, said members of the sorority remember Miss Will with fond mem- ories. “She was loved by our house very much and is missed every day,” she said. The Andrea Will memorial scholarship was established last year by the Sigma Kappa sorority in her honor. Additionally, fliers need to be posted at vari- ous places on campus to inform more students of the route and pick-up times. It would be helpful if fliers were in the form of pocket schedules for convenient reference. The purpose of the Panther Express is for the use of students. In order for it to be a continued success, constant student input and communica- tions is necessary.
