BAM AND IFC ANNOUNCE LINEUP FOR HOLIDAY INSTALLMENT OF COMEDY SERIES ON DECEMBER 19

BROOKLYN & , NY/December 11, 2013—BAM and IFC announce the lineup for a special holiday installment of Get It Out There: Comedy by BAM & IFC. Beginning at 9pm (bar opens at 8pm) on Thursday, December 19 in BAMcafé (30 Lafayette Ave, , NY) the event features Nimesh Patel (’s “Up Next” National Talent Search semi- finalist), Selena Coppock (author of The New Rules for Blondes), Wyatt Cenac (former correspondent on with ), and Ali Wong (VH1’s Best Week Ever). Curated by Caroline Creaghead (Creaghead & Company), the night will be hosted by Sean Patton (Comedy Central’s The Half Hour).

Started in 2012, this monthly comedy showcase—free and open to the public—encourages comics to experiment with humor by testing out fresh material and probing the depths of their twisted souls for new forms of funny. Past guests have included Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, Judah Friedlander, and Jon Glaser, with surprise guests dropping in at several events.
