Melissa Meister Wardrobe Stylist

After receiving her degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Melissa relocated to where she began her career on-camera as a nationally televised commercial actress and Wilhelmina model. During this time, Melissa and her partner developed a Junior driven apparel line which later developed into Melissa Meister Couture, sold exclusively in top boutiques in major cities across the US, such as Tracey Ross, Big Drop NY, Henri Bendel, and Fred Segal.

After several years of designing, Melissa refocused her line into creating custom pieces for high profile celebrities and musicians. The success of her custom designs organically led Melissa into designing for award-winning independent films and primetime networks and cable television.

Melissa has designed and styled personalities such as Colin Farrell, Venus and Serena Williams, Guy Ritchie, Juliette Binoche, Spike Lee, Kevin Garnett, Michelle Wie, The Dixie Chicks, Sharon Stone, Rick Fox, and Michelle Rodriquez. Melissa has also designed for top ad campaigns with world recognized companies like Nike, Estee Lauder, Gatorade, Sony, Omega, DDB, Warner Bros. Pictures, HBO, ABC, FOX, ESPN, TLC, MTV, NBC, Universal Pictures, and Nickelodeon.

Over the last few years, Melissa has taken a special interest in eco-development and its connection to fashion. For Melissa, it has brought forth a renewed commitment and excitement for her process and her custom designs. Melissa’s passion towards global eco-awareness has motivated her to use her solid on-camera experience to cultivate a change in the world via fashion.
