The International Symposium on Electrochemical Machining Technology INSECT is a cyclic Symposium, which offers research institutes as well as industrial companies a platform to present their work, to exchange ideas and contribute knowledge in the field of Electrochemical Machining. First held at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität in 2004, this symposium has become more and more important in recent years. Besides the presentation of latest research results, the event also offers the opportunity to discuss current challenges in the area of industrial application.

After 2014 this year’s symposium returns to Saarbrücken to celebrate its 15th anniversary at the Saarland University.
