Williams and York were the only players to leave the program at the conclusion of the 2019 season. Both etched their names into the record books before leaving Denton.

The two were part of the 2017 Conference USA Regular Season champion team, which set the new program record in wins at 29, only losing one game in C-USA play. Juniors at the time, York played her way onto the All-Conference First-Team at the end of the season. She finished fourth in D-1 in total assists at 1,441, winning the C-USA Setter of the Week award twice. York was selected to the All-Tournament team at all four non-conference tournaments, including MVP honors in the North Texas Challenge, averaging 13.22 assists per set in the three matches. York ended her carreer fourth all-time in assists in program history at 3,844, leading the team in double-doubles in her senior season with 17.

Williams’ only All-Conference honor came in her senior season when she was selected to the Second-Team All-Conference after a fantastic season. She was named the C-USA Defender of the Week in October. She opened the season with iron-deficiency anemia, but battled through to finish her career strong. She played in 130 sets averaging the fifth highest attack percentage in a single season in North Texas history with her .335 mark. She would finish seventh in C-USA in attack percentage, showing her prowess on both sides of the ball - skills she exhibited throughout her time at North Texas.
