GILFOYLE ew Chicagoans have rrans­ formed American sporrs as much as Mike Krzyzewski and jerry Reinsdor£ Since 1980, when he was named rhe head men's basketball coach at Duke Universiry, Krzyzewski has won four National Collegiate Arhleric Association (NCAA) champi­ onships and led the United States national basketball team to gold medals in the 2010 world champi­ onships and the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. His 957 victories after the 2013 season make him the winningest basketball coach in major college basketball history. Reinsdorf is the chairman and owner of two of the ciry's most beloved professional franchises: the Chicago Mil1e "Coach K" Krzyzewsld Oeft), recip­ Bulls and the Chicago White Sox.
