Please also see the responses from Rev. Gregory Kendrick, Jr., Interim Cory Pastor, and from Carol Dove and Dr. Ernest Smoot, Cory leaders, following the Park letter below. So we are developing Plan A, Plan B, Plan C… Be assured that all plans include quality Jewish/Hebrew education, creativity and ingenuity. All plans include what you’ve come to expect: lots of holiday prep & celebration, Hebrew decoding, Hebrew reading, emphasis on Bible, mitzvot, and blessings & prayer. We will be in touch with you throughout the summer to keep you up to date on all developments. At this time all students have been matriculated to the 2020/21 school year. To make registration even easier, you do not have to ! ll out a registration form. We had close to 100 households drop-o items they had either made at home or were donating to our designated agencies. We appreciate all the people who made and then dropped-o cozy € eece blankets; helpful fabric face masks; colorful bookmarks; and heartfelt cards, banners, and notes for foster kids, nursing home residents and US & Israeli soldiers. Thank you to the group of 6 women who sewed 72 heart-shaped pillows for breast cancer patients at the UH Seidman Cancer Center to use for comfort and support. We applaud the 16 people who shared their musical talents on short videos that are being shown to Monte ore residents over their own TV station. Thank you to the many members who donated a car-load of diapers and other baby items that will go to Family Promise of Greater Cleveland, who donated a trunk-load of items for the Wall of Love at Trinity Cathedral, and who donated $2547.00 to the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center (DVCAC) to help them cover the costs of their meals and activities for the adults and children who reside at this shelter. Volunteers also delivered cookie trays to the Pepper Pike and Cleveland Heights Police Departments to thank them for all their e orts in keeping our members and buildings safe throughout the year.
