Buchman Time Has Arrived: It’s The BIG 94.5 Country Stampede This Week At Manhattan The big name at the 17th edition of The BIG 94.5 Country Stam- pede will be one of country music's biggest names: Toby Keith. In his fifth Country Stampede appearance, the first since 2006, Keith headlines the Saturday lineup of the June 21-24 country music festival, sponsored by The BIG 94.5 Country, at Tuttle Creek State Park, north of Manhattan. Hit-making prowess earned Keith the designation of Billboard's top country artist and songwriter of the last decade and third on the dec- ade's all-genre Billboard 200 chart. Toby Keith Keith is touring in support of his 15th studio album, "Clancy's Tavern," which topped the Billboard Country Albums chart when it released. Its lead single, "Made in America," marked the singer-songwriter's 20th No. 1 single. Since his 2007 debut album, opening night headliner Luke Bryan has released two more, from which six singles have made the Top 10, including two toppers, "Rain Is a Good Thing" and "Someone Else Calling You Baby." His June 21 performance will mark his third Country Stampede appearance, but it will be his first as a headliner. Friday’s headline act is The Zac Brown Band, which since their 2009 Stampede debut won the new artist awards from the Grammys, the ACM and CMA, and shared another Grammy with Alan Jackson when their recording of "As She's Walking Away" won for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals. Luke Preston Band, winner of The BIG 94.5 Country Road to the Stampede band competi- tion will begin Saturday's music. Closing night headliner, The Band Perry — siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry and Neil Perry — won two CMA Awards, for Best New Artist and Single of the Year "If I Die Young," while Kimberly Perry received Song of the Year for that tune. The band debuted in 2010, Frank J. Buchman which also was its first Stampede performance.
