Hello families, and welcome to our Discovery Kids and Nursery monthly newsletter! We are so excited to be able to keep you in the loop and up to date with all activities, policies and other information you will want to know!

This November we will be doing a food and clothing drive with Nursery and Discovery Kids. This is a great way for our kids to learn to give back in a season of thankfulness.

From November 1st to the 22nd, we will be collecting non-perishable food and clothing for Feeding the Hungry, a ministry of NGC. The kids will be competing to see which grade can bring the most items, nursery, K & 1st, 2nd & 3rd, or 4th & 5th. The grade with the most items will receive an awesome prize!

Food and clothing ideas include canned food such as soups, packaged foods such as beans and cereals, and warm clothing such as hats, socks, gloves, and scarves.

Please drop off all food and clothing at any Nursery or Discovery Kids event, or in the front office by November 22nd.

Each Tuesday from 2 - 4:30 pm at our East Vancouver Campus, we will be hosting Tuesday Breaks!

Tuesday Breaks is a time for kids to come hang out at the facility, spend time with other kids, and get out of the house for a little while. We will be providing snacks, games, crafts, and homework help for all kids ages 5 - 5th grade! Parents are welcome to stay and work in the lobby or just drop their kids off.

Our last Tuesday Breaks will be on November 17th.

We are officially halfway through our Walking Through The Bible series at Discovery Kids Live!

Each week we look at the books of Genesis and John and use our best detective skills to try and figure out who is "the Word that became flesh". So far we have learned about Adam and Eve, Cain and Able, and Noah!

This is an amazing opportunity for kids to practice their Bible skills, memorize scripture, and learn about Christ and who He is.

We wil also be offering a Zoom class for ages Kindergarten - 5th grade for kids who cannot attend Discovery Kids Live in-person. If you would like to register for the Zoom class, click HERE

Join us on November 21st from 10 am -12 pm at our East Vancouver campus for a Thanksgiving themed Crafty Saturday!

We will have crafts, snacks, and fellowship! This is an awesome time to reflect on what we are thankful for and we are excited to share some of that time with our wonderful kids!

No sign ups necessary!

This event is for kids ages 5 - 5th grade.
