Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. No close contacts have been identified or advised to self isolate. Portage La Prairie École Arthur Meighen School (201 River December 15, 2020 Rd. Portage La Prairie) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Dec. 15 when that individual may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Close contacts have been advised to self-isolate and seek testing if symptoms develop. Steinbach Stonybrook Middle School (77 Lumbar Ave., November 19 and 23, and November 23 to 25, 2020 Steinbach) Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 were in the school one on Nov. 19 and 23 and one on Nov. 23 - 25 when they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk overall for the school community. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Classroom contacts have been advised to self-monitor for symptoms. Close contacts have been identified and advised to self-isolate (quarantine). Morden Morden Collegiate Institute (345 5th Street, November 25, 2020 Morden) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Nov. 25 when they may have been infectious. Based on the public health investigation, this exposure was assessed to be low risk overall for the school community. The infection was not believed to be acquired at school. Classroom contacts have been advised to self-monitor for symptoms. Winkler J.R. Walkof Elementary School (800 November 24, 2020 Southview Dr. Winkler) A confirmed case of COVID-19 was in the school on Nov. 24 when the individual may have been infectious. Close contacts connected to the case have been identified and advised to self-isolate (quarantine). Anyone who is a close contact has been contacted directly by public health officials or received a letter notifying that they are a close contact. The school will remain open to all other students and staff, who can continue to attend school in person. All other cohorts can continue to attend school in person. Winkler J.R. F.C. Bell, Minister of the department, in the provincial Legislature. This year's 27-million-dollar outlay for roads is the first in- stalment on the long-range plan, Mt. Bell stated. Plans include $92 million for rebuilding and resurfacing of provincial trunk highways; $20 million for extension of the trunk highway system; $15,300,000 for completion of the Trans-Canada highway and $3 million for completing the bypass to the north of Winnipeg. The length of time these projects will take to complete will depend on the amount of aid received from the Federal Government, Mt, Bell stated. Completion of the program could be expected in less than the allotted ten years, he said, if federal aid was expanded. The estimated $20 million for trunk highway extension provides for the addition of 500 miles of highway - location of which will be determined . by traffic counts, Mt. Bell stated.
