20 21 Flower Show News This year’s Flower Show will take place on Saturday 29th August. At their first meeting of the year, the organising committee decided that the ‘Community Defibrillators’, organised through the 1st Severn Beach Scout Group, would be the beneficiaries of monies raised by the 2020 show. The equipment has the capability of saving lives within our community and funding is currently needed to maintain/replace these defibrillators.

Changes to the show’s classes will be determined in March and publicised here and on the show’s Facebook page. In the meantime, gardeners are advised that with the Rudbeckia (a splendid daisy-like flower) being named the Fleuroselect Flower of the Year for 2020, a special class for the Rudbeckia will be included in this year’s show. Please get sowing!
