February 27, 2015 – FC of the Dutch has agreed a partnership with the Virginia based soccer organization, Chesterfield United Football Club. Chesterfield United FC coaches and players will have the opportunity to work with the Academy coaches of FC Utrecht in both North America and the , offering an insight into the player development program of a top- tiered Eredivisie team. Executive Director, Pat McStay, has been invited to come to Utrecht and study the FC Utrecht player development program.

Part of the agreement will see the FC Utrecht North American Academy hosting a series of Elite Player ID Events with Chesterfield United during the 2015/2016 seasons. FC Utrecht will send their Academy staff over to work with the players and coaches at these events. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to go to the FC Utrecht National Camp. From this camp the very best will be invited to travel to Utrecht and train with Academy.

Chesterfield United is a youth soccer club that caters to 1,500 players in central Virginia. The club caters for ages 4-18 and provides programs for all levels. At the highest level of play Chesterfield United’s Elite teams play in the Virginia NPL which provides some of the best competition in the State. They also have both NPSL and WPSL amateur teams as well.
