Pro jezdce to byl opravdu náročný test, protože většina jezdců se pohybovala na trati za deště a na kluzkém vodorovném značení nebyla nouze o pády. Po setinovém druhém místě v prologu se dočkal velkého vítězství Promoz Roglic (Team Lotto NL – Jumbo), který dokonale využil, vedle svých nesporných časovkářských kvalit, právě ještě suchou trať v úvodu. Pro Biomatematický model jsme původně s touto etapou nepočítali, přeci jen ta délka… ale kdybychom předpokládali, že jezdci BMM jeli za sucha? Více ve výsledkové listině na další straně.
