County Cllr Gareth Pugh elected member for the Dolforwyn Ward.

R.E. Abermule Business Park: have commissioned a consultant to undertake pre-application consultation in respect of the proposed development at Abermule Business Park. This notice provides the opportunity to comment directly to the developer on a proposed development prior to the submission of a planning application to the local planning authority. Powys County Council are intending to apply for full consent to construct a recycling bulking facility and associated works and outline consent for business units on the Abermule Business Park. They will be holding a drop-in event on Thursday 17th May from 11 - 19:00 at Abermule community centre, where officers will be in attendance to answer questions about the development. At 19:00 I have requested a question and answer session in the main hall where I would like as many local residents as possible to attend. This is your chance to make your views clear. The closure of the level crossing never took place and the contractor failed to let PCC know. Therefore, they will now have to apply for a new road closure in due course. The Gospel Hall development is being held up by Network Rail, the pavement from Court Close to the village has to go in before the development starts and Network Rail are proving difficult in the final negotiations of the railway crossing. The whole of Powys has experienced teething problems with the new rubbish collection routes but hopefully this will be resolved shortly. If you have any council matters you need to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact me. Cllr Gareth Pugh. mobile no.07976 928109 e.mail [email protected]
