We have been living in virtual world for over a year. We have gotten used to working and learning from home. We have celebrated holidays and attended weddings and funerals. We have been praying and worshiping as well. Thankfully the technology to go virtual was there when we needed it so that life did not come to a complete halt. Even though we have gotten used to and are grateful for the virtual life, we realize there is something missing. We yearn for something more - something real. As the light at the end of the tunnel comes into view, we need to have the courage to engage it and step out in confidence. We belong together. We belong in communion with each other and the Lord. Our Faith tells us that the Lord is truly present in our community and particularly in the Eucharist. left himself to us as real food which we can really eat but only if we are really here.
