What will you get? We are broadening our programme to include more documentaries. In September, we’ll explore topics as diverse as the war in Syria (For Sama), endangered species (Sea of Shadows), contemporary dance (Dance on Screen season), and justice (In the Eyes of the Law new series). Our Dance on Screen season, accompanying our UK-wide festival FranceDance UK, kicks off a new strand of films about art forms and artist films, and experimental moving image practices (Germaine Dulac’s shorts). We are also introducing monthly relaxed screenings tailored for those who may be on the autism spectrum or with sensory difficulties (Playmobil: The Movie, 28 Sept). Among the novelties, also expect some golden oldies! Thanks to our new screen, we’ll offer additional weekly screenings of our popular Sunday Classics, under the new title Les Classiques, dedicated in September to the representation of justice. A programming expansion on two screens means a more flexible programme allowing more new released films (from Pedro Almodóvar’s latest opus to Louis Garrel’s new feature – pictured on this page), repeat screenings of the most popular titles and additional films and special events. What changes from now on? To allow the programme to be flexible, only the opening day for the NEW RELEASES is specified in this brochure.
