Participating National (PN) Monitoring Matrix EAS-WA -Tab 10C Participating National (PN) Approved by SECC WA-PAWS- Tab C5C 5.12.20 Monitoring Matrix INTRODUCTION The following pages detail the over-the-air Monitoring Sources available to all Participating National (Not Local Primary) AM, FM, TV and Cable facilities in each Operational Area of Washington State. Changes to these tables may only be made by the express written approval of the Washington State SECC. NOTES See – 47 CFR Part 11 https://ecfr.io/Title-47/pt47.1.11 1- To contact Emergency Management Offices in each Operational Area, see EAS-Tab 2 or WAPAWS Tab D1. 2- Changes, corrections and updates should be directed to the SECC via the Washington State EAS Remailer. 3- To comply with FCC Rules, every Participating National (PN) facility must monitor-- at a minimum – two LP’s. 4- In addition, to effectively provide emergency information, monitoring the NWS, SRN and LRN is highly encouraged. 5- The States of Washington and Oregon make use of networks of broadcast stations to distribute National-Level alerts. These systems are identified within the ‘Frequency’ column with a number suffix as follows: NWPB (1), KNKX (2), KPBX (3) and Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) (4) 6- As you make the decision about which frequencies to monitor, you are always welcome to reach-out to either your local Emergency Communications Committee (LECC) or the State Emergency Communications Committee (SECC) for advice. • DOCKET FILE Copy ORIGINAL
DOCKET FILE COpy ORIGINAL BEFORE THE FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Washington, D.C. In the Matter of Amendment of Section 73.202(b) MM Docket No.OO-41 Table of Allotments, RM-9369 FM Broadcast Stations. (Oakville, Raymond and South Bend Washington) j To: Chief, Policy and Rules Division . ,~' COMMENTS Jodesha Broadcasting, Inc. ("Jodesha"), by its attorney, hereby submits its Comments in the above-captioned rule making proceeding. Jodesha is the proponent of the allotment changes proposed in this rule making proceeding. Its reasons for seeking the allotment changes are fully set out in its Petition for Rule Making and are incorporated herein by reference. Attached hereto is an Engineering Statement which contains the gain and loss area studies with respect to the proposed reallotment of Channel 249Cl to Oakville, Washington, and the replacement of Channel 289C2 with Channel 300A at South Bend, Washington, that the Commission requested be submitted by Jodesha. As a preliminary matter, it is pointed out that it is Jodesha's present intention to operate Station KFMY on Channel 249C1 as an Oakville station from the station's existing transmitter site and that it is Jodesha's present intention to continue to operate Station KJET on Channel 289C2 as a Raymond No. of Copies rec'd O<t Lf Ust ABCOE station from the station's existing transmitter site. Therefore, no actual gain or loss will result from the reallotment of either Channel 249C1 to Oakville or Channel 289C2 to Raymond. Nevertheless, in response to the Commission's request, the Engineering Statement does contain (i) a gain and loss analysis comparing the coverage of Station KFMY from its existing transmitter site with the coverage that the Station would realize if it were to operate from the Oakville Channel 249C1 reference site and (ii) a gain and loss analysis comparing the coverage of a station operating on Channel 300A at South Bend with the existing coverage of Station KJET.

NORTHWEST PUBLIC RADIO 03/15 148019 Year in Review In FY 2014, Northwest Public Radio made significant progress toward long-term strategic goals. Reviewing the year’s successes, it’s notable that many highlights of the year involved young people: young performers, young listeners and young radio professionals. Northwest Public Radio connected listeners to From the Top, an NPR program that shines a spotlight on outstanding young musicians. NWPR hosted From the Top in Tacoma with the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts in April, where seven artists, all 18 years old or younger, gave outstanding performances. Northwest Public Radio’s newest station went on the air in Pullman with a new program stream and a college-student staff in November.
